A vertigo-inducing hike above the Ordesa canyon
Immediate
An exceptional hike on the other side of the Cirque de Gavarnie, on the Spanish side . Following a wild route, far from the crowds, we will enter this remote area via unexpected paths between the high limestone walls of the Gavarnie/Mont Perdu massif. In the heart of the Pyrenees, among the most beautiful natural sites in Spain and Aragon, the Vire des Fleurs is a long and spectacular walk along a sheer rock face perched above the Ordesa Canyon . After crossing vast, arid plains among chamois and marmots beneath peaks over 3,000 meters high, the return to France will be via the legendary Brèche de Roland .
A challenging hike in the Spanish Pyrenees for people in good physical condition and with good endurance, and teenagers aged 15 and over. A 12-hour day outdoors with a distance of 25 kilometers, an elevation gain of 1200 m and approximately 10 hours of actual walking time.
Remember to book before your arrival in the Pyrenees. If this group hike does not have enough participants, we will offer those who have registered the opportunity to share the cost of hiring a private guide.
