The summit of Lary, accessible at 2400 meters above Gavarnie, is a beautiful viewpoint offering fantastic panoramic views of the summit ridges of the Cirque de Gavarnie and the Vignemale peak. You will discover the glacial valley of Ossoue with the famous Ossoue Glacier, the second largest glacier in the Pyrenees, and the highest peak in the Pyrenees, the imposing Vignemale reaching 3298m. You will also see the Cirque de Gavarnie, its 3000m peaks, and the Brèche de Roland – a spectacular view from the summits, far from the crowds. Away from the crowds, we will lead you on this beautiful, wild, and spectacular route that crosses high-altitude meadows among irises where marmots roam. Chamois are also present in rockier areas and offer us the spectacle of their flight.
