Guided mountain hike in the high valleys of Cauterets. Your guide will show you and tell you about these ancient glacial valleys, which bear the marks of past glaciers, as evidenced by the numerous lakes. The high-altitude lakes are adorned with a thousand colors, reflecting deep blue or emerald green to captivate you. In the Marcadau Valley, water is everywhere, from the babbling of the stream to cascading waterfalls. Up there, a short climb, guided by breathtaking panoramas, these lakes, true jewels of the high mountains, offer a shimmering realm just waiting to be discovered. Our route, between the glacial lakes and the ascent of a peak overlooking them, will give us the opportunity to contemplate the border peaks and the Vignemale in the distance before descending through meadows and pine forests to the Wallon refuge. It is on the refuge's terrace that we can enjoy a delicious omelet or other treats! Lunch not included (picnic possible).

Hike accessible to hikers in good physical condition and teenagers from 15 years old.The day will involve approximately 8 hours of actual walking, with an elevation gain of 900 to 1150 meters. Breaks will be scheduled for conversation, sightseeing, and light refreshments. Routes are subject to change depending on weather conditions and safety considerations, which we will assess to ensure your comfort and the smooth running of the hike.
