The imposing wall of the Cirque de Gavarnie is unique in Europe, as is its great waterfall, the highest in mainland France; this sedimentary massif and its geology are unique! Beneath our feet and before our eyes, the meeting of the geological layers of the Iberian and European tectonic plates reveals the history of millions of years of our Pyrenees.

Away from the crowds, we'll take you on stunning, wild, and spectacular trails along panoramic views overlooking the valley, offering discreet access to the cirque. Hike in Gavarnie accessible to most walkers in good physical condition without being athletes and to children from 12 years old. Day trip of 7 hours with approximately 5.5 hours of actual walking and a positive elevation gain of 700 m.
