Starting near the village of Cauterets, you'll reach the Lutour Valley by climbing through the undergrowth of the mountain forest, passing the narrow pass above the waterfall. Once you emerge from the snow-laden fir and beech trees, the route along the Gave River presents little difficulty. This hike, accessible to most, in an enchanting valley at the foot of vast snow-covered slopes, will inspire you to dream of future adventures. In the quiet hours of the morning, amidst the snow and on forest trails, come discover the pleasures of Nordic walking and appreciate the fabulous setting in which we invite you to explore.
This hike is accessible to most people in good physical condition, without requiring athleticism. It's a half-day hike with approximately 3 hours of actual walking and 300 meters of elevation gain.

The routes are subject to change depending on the weather and safety considerations, which we assess to ensure your comfort and the smooth running of the hike. If snow conditions are unpredictable, we may offer you an alternative route with better snow cover, or a different mountain walking route, always allowing you to discover the mountains away from the crowds for your enjoyment.
