Vast snow-covered expanses on the Hautacam ridges
Mandatory
Immediate
Snowshoeing across the vast open spaces of the snow-covered summer pastures of Hautacam. From the small Hautacam ski resort, we'll reach the ridge line that separates the Gazost valley from the Isaby valley and enjoy the sweeping views of the surrounding mountains before descending into the Isaby valley to reach the frozen Isaby lake. A beautiful hike across vast, snow-covered mountain landscapes. Guaranteed thrills, especially if a bearded vulture makes an appearance. Try your luck at spotting one!
Snowshoe hike on the Hautacam, accessible to most people in good shape without being athletes, and to children from 11 years old. Day trip from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm with approximately 4 hours of actual walking and 350 m of elevation gain.
If you have any doubts about the level of difficulty, call us on 05 54 54 62 61.
The routes are subject to change depending on the weather and safety considerations, which we assess to ensure your comfort and the smooth running of the hike. Snow cover cannot be guaranteed, and we will work together with the current conditions, always with the aim of enjoying the discovery of the natural wonders of the Pyrenees mountains away from the crowds.
Remember to book before your arrival in the Pyrenees. If this group hike does not have enough participants, we will offer those who have registered the opportunity to share the cost of hiring a private guide.
With the premium package , you can schedule this hike whenever you like, whether for yourself, your family, your group, or your club. Contact us using the contact form.
