A snowshoe hike on the Hautacam will take you along a ridge line unfolding a succession of easily accessible peaks before reaching the higher ridges on the Pic de Barran and finally the Pic des Mont, offering a true high-mountain atmosphere. From the ridge at 2000m, the panoramic view is superb: the mountain range stretches against the blue horizon all the way to the plain, with the Pic du Midi de Bigorre dominating the peaks to the east.
