Snowshoeing in the Azun Valley, between snow-covered undergrowth and panoramic ridges. A dreamlike setting for crossing the hanging Azun Valley and discovering the Bigorre architecture. This hike takes place partly in the snow-covered undergrowth of the mountain forest, which we will cross before reaching the panoramic ridges for this traverse in the heights of the Azun Valley. The route that will lead us to the Berbeilhet Pass follows the ridges with magnificent panoramic views of the Pyrenean peaks before returning through a lovely beech forest, a refuge for the capercaillie and the roe deer. Who knows, maybe we'll spot them!
Snowshoe hike accessible to most people in good shape without being athletes, and to children from 10 years old. Day from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm with approximately 4 hours of actual walking and 400 m of elevation gain.
